Aims
We have two main aims
The school will use ICT to pedagogical innovation in the
classrooms. We think that use of ICT in the classrooms can increase
the potential for learning, especially when we use in collaborative
projects, finding information on Internet and that the pupils can
express their thoughts and ideas. International research supports
these presumptions.
A very important factor for success implementing ICT in the
classrooms is that the teachers have competence in ICT, and that they
see the possibilities ICT give in the schoolwork and in project based
learning.
Its also important to create a new understanding of the
possibilities technology give to a education reform to move focus
from teaching to learning. From teacher centred teaching to give the
pupils a real responsibility for their own learning.
Pupils in focus and engaged learning
Students are responsible for their own learning
Students are self-regulated and able to define their learning
goals
Task for the students must be challenging, authentic and
multidisciplinary
Collaborative learning is very important
Performance based assessment during the projects is important
Learning through exploring is important
